I read last week i think in this forum when some one gave his vida debit card details but bank did not authorised the payment and his application was returned.
Mostly happening with ICICI bank. It seems they have a limit of £750 worth of transactions per day.

I can use for example Jan - Feb 2009 + April 2009 to Jan 2009 in total 12 months with one month gap Mar 2009. I have general feeling that if all appt are booked in the morning, there is no point calling them in the afternoon for tht day.
There might be somebody who cancelled their appointment and that slot is up for taking. There is no harm in trying 2-3 times a day. You might get lucky. All the best.
