Re: Differences between Citizenship Helpdesk teams?

It's not just numbers as each team have different tasks / speciality in the naturalization process. I was told by a lawyer that each team does specific action and I'm trying to see if anyone came across that info Amazing lawyer  All these teams are the same. Thank you for your input. I'm s...

In the past I got response emails from other teams (Citizenship Helpdesk Team 3 / Citizenship Helpdesk

Re: 6 Weeks outside the state- Do travelling days count?

I can only answer your first question as I asked the same thing and got an answer from INIS in the past. Here is their reply: "A reasonable and generous period of 6 weeks is allowed to provide for absences for normal holidays and other short absences such as for a family bereavement. Absences t...

Do you have an existing IRP card? If yes, use the online platform. If not, email them to get an appointment.
I do have an existing IRP card.
I'll submit my renewal online then.

Thank you for your help

Re: Acknowledgement letter received 5 months after applying

It's well known there is a large backlog. I applied in April 2019. I got an acknowledgement and my passport returned in May, but only because I hounded them as I needed my passport. Last year most people were waiting for months between application and acknowledgement - far longer than in previous years. Recently, though, times to acknowledgement have come down. Poster markem has done some very nice work going through the timeline threads to see how long people are typically wa...
