Hey, we filed my husband's Tier1 application last week. He is also from IIMC... Its sad that the qualification is not on the self assessment tool. We did not claim points for it (we had 95 points already) but submitted the certificate. Also, we mentioned about it in the cover letter...

To cut the long story short, it is better to apply with accommodation proof (for Indian applicants) as recommended by BHCs. hi Rajesh, thanks for the reply :)

I just looked at the bank statements and it shows the name as Hari Ram P Thakur. Also, It has the company's name clearly mentioned for salary deposits.

So, hopefully this wont be a problem... :)

Hi,
Is accomodation proof required for tier1 general applications from India?

What if we havent decided when to travel?

Hi, Will late filing of IT returns effect the HSMP application? Taxes were however fully paid on time. Please let me know if we should simply file our returns now and apply for HSMP (first time) or wait until june to apply with new tax reciept (returns filed on time) Please advice asap... -Tulipz
