Hi, My status is the same. I called the BHC as well as Gerrys's, they both said that we can only tell you that the application is in process...& not at which stage your application is [:-)]...I had requested them to please expedite since i need the passport for travel needs (which i really do).....

Hi Fellows, Have applied for HSMP EC on 25th Jan 2008 with 2 dependents from Khi VAC. The VAC opens at 8 AM so i was there at 8 AM. We were the 1st ones at the VAC that day!!! A total of 3 counters were involved. I didnt have to go through to the cash counter because i had bank drafts drawn on HSBC ...
