Having read the PDF regarding the temporary Affidavit that's been put in place I wonder if people who are at the second stage will be included in this Only approved applicants will receive the declaration by email. Others will have to wait until their application is approved and may still get invit...
Calling nearly 4000 people is a gargantuan which will probably require extra staff to complete. Considering that change of emails and phone numbers is not uncommon, some people will miss it out. I suppose you can send them a letter with your correct phone number and email address.
Very good. Can't wait to get mine
Pretty bad idea with the emails. Uploading the declaration on the website would have been so much easier.
I suppose the reason behind this decision is because it is a one off solution only for certain applicants.
You're not an EU citizen yet, not married, and March of next year is a long time ahead, a lot can change. But in general he will be able to live with you on a basis of being a spouse of EU citizen, provided that you're working here and supporting yourself. I would love to know all the ideas I could ...
Hi there, I was out if ireland for 43 days in the last 365 before my application due to family emergency do you think I can still apply for the citizenship or I should wait Yes, due to COVID as Stanina mentioned, they may make an exception. Make sure to provide sufficient evidence that it was a fam...

Thanks vorona .. I applied as irish spouse .. and its almost 2 and half years now ..process doesn't look like faster than others.. The reason for delay is not clear, you can request copy of your file and see if you can find anything that could potentially explain the delay, as it can be anything fr...
Bad idea. It's a general assumption that applications from people who are married to Irish citizens processed faster than others. However, if you applied on a basis of Irish association, then according to current data on the INIS website, it will take around 30 months: https://www.irishimmigration.i...
I am confused. You answered my question "* Are the IRP renewals processed & issued & posted in level 5?" above with Yes :) If it is 2-3 weeks processing time as you say and if they are still processing renewal cards, mine is becoming 6 weeks and something may have gone wrong. Dela...
According to the page Renew your registration the latest announcement mentions the closure of Burgh Quay Reg Office "Notice 1 | Minister announces further temporary extension of immigration permissions and the closure of the Burgh Quay Registration Office from the 23 December 2020" Permis...
* Are the IRP renewals still being processed and new cards are being issued & posted in level 5? * Should we submit any documents by post? The online application never gave me a directive regarding this. * Any information about the current processing times if applications are still processed? *...
Do you have any idea on what the cost would be? Several thousands of euros I believe just for your own costs. Depending on many different factors. Well I won’t be able to get nothing from my country as I have been granted with a refugee status in Ireland that mean they can’t ask me noting in relati...
I did write to them before the high court and they didint really care they threatened me back as well saying that if I go to high court we will make sure you will pay everything to the high court in case if I luse This is true unfortunately. They have their own lawyers and they can fight back and h...
Don't worry about it, its a minor thing  In a few months you will get an an acknowledgment letter with your passport, receipt and application reference number. They will be in touch with you after that asking to provide missing or additional documents. You will need to send it to them quoti...
No, it is not possible to get it any faster. They will always ask to wait at least 2-3 weeks. If you're in real urge because of emergency situation try to apply for a re-entry visa. Right before Christmas they have made an exception and allowed people who haven't receipt their IRP cards to apply for...
I'm in the same boat. Have only been approved a week ago. I read old posts from previous years and noticed that people are saying that document have to be sent within 10 business days. My letter does not specify this perioid. My best guess is that once affidavit form is approved it will be available...
I suggest this thread to be locked until some people either learn the rules or just get over their frustration that I got an approval before them. I feel your pain, but your accusations and jealousy will continue to go to the bin.
Why do you get worked up when other people express their frustration over their own applications ? A bit odd isn't it for someone with rare luxuries like "a family a job and a house" to get worked up on an immigration forum where majority of people will post because their applications did...
I would invite you to find the legislation that includes reference to the "six week rule". Clue, there isn't one :) About time someone challenged in court over this. It appeared out of nowhere in 2016 with no legal basis. I invite you to find where I said that there is one. I've heard tha...
Sorry if I wasn't clear, I'm not saying to hide them. I will show them clearly and specify the reason I was out of the country. But as my company allowed me to work remotely for a couple of weeks, I used to travel during holidays to visit my family and stay there for a month or so. What I find weir...
