Re: Affidavits for approved applications and next ceremony

Having read the PDF regarding the temporary Affidavit that's been put in place I wonder if people who are at the second stage will be included in this Only approved applicants will receive the declaration by email. Others will have to wait until their application is approved and may still get invit...

I hope they have a register of people who already paid for the naturalization certificate, or it will be a big fun asking me to pay second time.
if they do, just tell them that you have already paid.
I haven't send them anything yet. I was waiting until this new legislation comes into force.

Re: Affidavits for approved applications and next ceremony

Calling nearly 4000 people is a gargantuan which will probably require extra staff to complete. Considering that change of emails and phone numbers is not uncommon, some people will miss it out. I suppose you can send them a letter with your correct phone number and email address.

Re: Affidavits for approved applications and next ceremony

Very good. Can't wait to get mine
Pretty bad idea with the emails. Uploading the declaration on the website would have been so much easier.
I suppose the reason behind this decision is because it is a one off solution only for certain applicants.

Just wait, they will get in touch with you when they can. As long as you've informed them you will be ok.

Re: Marriage to an EU Citizen and Visas

You're not an EU citizen yet, not married, and March of next year is a long time ahead, a lot can change. But in general he will be able to live with you on a basis of being a spouse of EU citizen, provided that you're working here and supporting yourself. I would love to know all the ideas I could ...

Re: Withdrawing citizenship application

Thanks vorona .. I applied as irish spouse .. and its almost 2 and half years now ..process doesn't look like faster than others.. Re: Withdrawing citizenship application

Bad idea. It's a general assumption that applications from people who are married to Irish citizens processed faster than others. However, if you applied on a basis of Irish association, then according to current data on the INIS website, it will take around 30 months: https://www.irishimmigration.i...

Re: Online IRP Renewal: Processing in Level 5? Post documents? Processing times?

I am confused. You answered my question "* Are the IRP renewals processed & issued & posted in level 5?" above with Yes :) If it is 2-3 weeks processing time as you say and if they are still processing renewal cards, mine is becoming 6 weeks and something may have gone wrong. Dela...

Re: Citizenship delays: FOI and an application for an Order for Mandamus via the High Courts

Do you have any idea on what the cost would be? Several thousands of euros I believe just for your own costs. Depending on many different factors. Well I won’t be able to get nothing from my country as I have been granted with a refugee status in Ireland that mean they can’t ask me noting in relati...

Re: Expedite IRP card

No, it is not possible to get it any faster. They will always ask to wait at least 2-3 weeks. If you're in real urge because of emergency situation try to apply for a re-entry visa. Right before Christmas they have made an exception and allowed people who haven't receipt their IRP cards to apply for...

I'm in the same boat. Have only been approved a week ago. I read old posts from previous years and noticed that people are saying that document have to be sent within 10 business days. My letter does not specify this perioid. My best guess is that once affidavit form is approved it will be available...

I would invite you to find the legislation that includes reference to the "six week rule". Clue, there isn't one :) About time someone challenged in court over this. It appeared out of nowhere in 2016 with no legal basis. I invite you to find where I said that there is one. I've heard tha...

Sorry if I wasn't clear, I'm not saying to hide them. I will show them clearly and specify the reason I was out of the country. But as my company allowed me to work remotely for a couple of weeks, I used to travel during holidays to visit my family and stay there for a month or so. What I find weir...
