Re: Turkish passport expires Nov 23

Thank you both for the replies.

We're flying with TUI so I will try and contact them. I'd rather my husband just got a new passport here in the UK before going to Turkey but he can't get the time off to travel to the closest centre just now as it is quite a lengthy trip. He has a valid BRP.

Turkish passport expires Nov 23

My husband is Turkish and currently has ILR in the UK. We are going to Turkey for 2 weeks in September on holiday. His Turkish passport expires in November this year. Is that going to cause any problems at the border when entering Turkey or arriving back in the UK? He was thinking about travelling o...

Periods of absence from UK

Hi guys, one of the questions has thrown me a bit on the application... Since you started living in the UK have you spent time outside the UK? Do not include holidays of 2 weeks or less. Include any periods of time you have spent on the Isle of Man, Jersey or Guernsey. So if I've been on holiday for...

ILR application - when to apply?

Hi everyone, my husband's BRP expires on 26th January 2023. We are going to apply for ILR providing he passes the Life in the UK test which we are having a bit of difficulty with :( My question is, what is classed as the application date? The day you submit your documents etc online or the day you a...

Re: UKVCAS biometrics appointment postponed

My husband had a current account with another bank between October 2017 & April 2018 so we were relying on statements from them to show the old address. However, these have been sent to our current address and my husband was told by the bank that they can't amend these to show the address at the...

Re: FLR document submission

Thanks for the reply.

Sorry I'll butt out of the conversation - I just thought it would be easier to comment on a thread that had similar content.

Re: UKVCAS biometrics appointment postponed

I think that question as part of accomodation requirement refers to present arrangements about council tax.

So do I just need to submit the current council tax bill rather than any previous ones?

Re: FLR document submission

Hi there, Can payslips and a P60 be used as proof of cohabitance? My husband moved here in September 2017 so I was thinking of submitting the following but not sure if it's enough: SEP 17: national insurance number letter (him), payslip (me) APR 18: P60 (him), bank account statement (me) SEP 18: Cou...

Re: UKVCAS biometrics appointment postponed

Can we use the same documents twice? For example, we will be uploading 3 x council tax bills as "evidence of council tax costs for the accommodation in the UK" (2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-21). We need these as proof of living together under the "items of correspondence addressed to us bot...

Re: UKVCAS biometrics appointment postponed

Thank you very much for the reply. We were thinking of going to one of the core service centres instead as they appear to still be open but not sure what the future holds with that - could end up getting cancelled too, plus it's a 4 hour drive away! So he can still go ahead and get the documents alr...

UKVCAS biometrics appointment postponed

Hi, wondering if anyone can help? I am British and I'm married to a Turkish national. My husband submitted his FLR M application and paid the immigration health surcharge on 6th March. Due to the current pandemic, he received an email from UKVCAS to say that his biometrics appointment had been chang...
