All right then. Good luck there at the GNIB.

Yes, they have sent the receipt and all our file, including passports, bills, contracts and so on! When did u send?

By the way... someone has to be at home to pick it up, otherwise you will have to pick it up at your closest Post Office.

Hi there! Just to let you know... we posted on Wednesday and we received the acknowledgment 10 days after. Now... we plan to move from our flat. Does anyone know how should we proceed to let them know about our new address? Or should we stay at the same apartment until receiving their letter? Cheers!

Thanks Knapps for the answer! I've been away from the forum for a long time. We sent my husband's EU1 Form last Wednesday. I saw on the internet that they received using the Tracking Code issued for Registered Letters. What raise concerns is that they did not send an acknowledgment or a receipt. How...

EU1 Application Form

Hi people! I think it's a stupid question but anyway  Our landlord is taking too long to send our Rental Contract and PRTB Registration (looks like she is avoiding to do it even though it is obligatory). Can we send my husband application without this documents and amend it later to our applic...

Does anyone recommend one? I went after some but they are charging between 90 to 130 for a single certificate with less than 250 words.

What a huge surprise! We came up to the GNIB, we had to wait for about one hour to talk with the officer, which was really really nice (making me wish that all people in government services were like him). Our documents were in French and were not translated but as the officer could speak French he ...

Ca.funke, Just wondering. How long you and your spouse have been together? I just went in the INIS website and found that: If you are the non EEA partner of an EU Citizen in an attested, durable relationship that has existed for at least 2 years... Me and my husband have been together for more than ...

Unbelievable!

 Well... your wife could join a full time English course or any other full time course, which would give her a student visa. This visa allows her to remain in Ireland with you for the period of the course and will give her the right to work in a part time basis job.

I'm EU (German/Belgian), my wife (Lebanon) joined me in Ireland on a join-spouse visa after marrying in Cyprus, without prior residence elsewhere in the Union. When she arrived we were told to apply for EU1, and the same day/minute we got stamp 4, and she started a new job 1 week after arriving. Th...

We know that already... but we want to do the things in a way that will avoid us problems, we don't want to argue and anything... we just want to show all the papers and say: so what officer?

Hi Benifa, We want to do things right, as long as we have the Carte de Sejour, there's no GNIB's request we are not fulfilling. We are in a hurry because we are living with my parents (and of course that is not it's suppose to be) but besides that we are working and saving some money so it's fine to...

We still have plans to go back to Ireland, so... is there anything else we could do while here in France? His C...

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear. The EU1 Form is the way to apply for a Residence Card in Ireland. If we go to the Irish Embassy in France and apply for the Residence Card there to come to Ireland, would that be easier? Doing it over there already state that we are living in a EU Member cou...
