How to get dependent visa for UK born child

Dear Friends,
I am on HSMP visa granted in March 2008 for two years. My wife is dependent on me. My son was born in May 2008. I want to get dependent visa stamped on my UK born child’s passport. How should I proceed to get visa for my son.

Para 43 in Annexure C of the HSMP Guide states "If you are living and working in a country but having your income paid into a bank account in another country your income will be considered against the country code where you are living and working".

I called home office but thay says it is curently takeing 6 weeks time. they can not give me any information.

I submitted my FLR (HSMP) On 30 of Nov without any urgent request & got my Ref No On 4th Of Dec, but haven't heard anything back. Does anyone have any Information About time.

Christmas opening hours (Customer Contact Centre)

17 December 2007

The Customer Contact Centre in Sheffield will close for Christmas at 1700 on Friday 21 December and will reopen for business at 0900 Thursday 27 December. The Centre will also be closed on Tuesday 1 January.

aravindlxp - we are in the same situation, we applied on the 30th Nov and called the home office today. They said it has been dealt with and not to worry about a trip on the 19th Dec Hello Taster, I applied same as you on 30th of Nov, Please update me as well if you have any news Thanx
