FLR (M) application

Hi all, I applied and paid for my wife's FLR (M) application on 9th May 2020, with all documents uploaded. In August we got an email from Sopra Steria regarding the reusing of finger prints and uploading a passport picture through the app. We since have not had any response on the visa application, ...

Visitor visa

Hi all, I have a question on a visitor visa application. I currently sponsor my wife via the FLR route, we applied for the FLR-M extension in May 2020 and are awaiting for a decision. In the mean time I wish to sponsor my Mother in law for a visit to the UK for later on during the year. Is there any...

Re: FLR (M) income calculation

Hi all, Sorry if this is a dumb / obvious question. I have been uploading documents on the UKVCAS website. On the preview of some documents, the preview only shows tiny squares instead of the wordings within the whole document. I am not sure whether this is correct or not, or is it just a security f...

Re: FLR (M) income calculation

Hi all, I am in the final stages before submitting the application, and there is a question which is slightly confusing as below: "Is the account with a bank or utility company for which you have supplied information and supporting documentation held jointly by you and other people?" When ...

Re: FLR (M) income calculation

1. I never ever seen a bank statement which doesn't carry the date of printing/issuance/downloaded. I am sure if you check carefully then will definitely find that date somewhere on the first page but still it will meet the purpose for cohabitation but preferably don't use such statement if really ...

Re: FLR (M) income calculation

Hi all, I am scheduled to apply for the FLR (M) next weekend, and had a couple of quick questions: 1. Cohabitation documents - the final document I have for proof of cohabitation is a bank statement. These do not show the date the statement itself was printed, but shows the date range for the statem...

Re: Spouse visa extension English requirement

I had mine from Tanzania. I received the statement this week, pretty quick process - I think it took about 6/7 days overall. Much easier than doing IELTS with all centres closed. They are only sending PDF copies via email as of now due to the situation, so you won't receive anything in the post. Th...

Re: Spouse visa extension English requirement

Hi, I have just gone through this process earlier this week. Basically, for NARIC to confirm, in addition to your transcript, they need a statement from your College / University back home stating that the course you studied was taught in English. Hopefully that is something you are able to get hol...

Re: Spouse visa extension English requirement

Thanks Seagul and CR001. You have been really helpful. From your feedback, I'll apply for the red route i.e. visa and nationality statement. And I believe this will include both Academic Qualification Level Statement (AQUALS) and The English Language Proficiency Statement (ELPS) from Naric. I know ...

Re: FLR (M) income calculation

Hi all, I am just in the process of filling out my wife's FLR (M) form and needed a bit of help with calculating the income and what I need to declare on the form. In summary, I receive a salary of £30,000 per annum plus car allowance of £6,000 = total £36,000. My payslip is broken down as follows:...

Re: Spouse visa extension

Hi all, I am due to apply for my wife's FLR(M) extension, her current visa expires on 20th June. With all the test centres closed, we are unable to get an A2 English assessment, and not sure when these will reopen. I also believe all the application centres are now closed. I can't find any governme...

Re: Cohabitation documents

Thanks for your responses everyone. Just one final question on this, the tenancy agreement which I have was electronically signed by us and the letting agency. Is it worth having a letter from the agency confirming the same? As part of the application I shall be enclosing the tenancy deposit certifi...

Re: Cohabitation documents

Does it matter if I am using certain sources more than the other, as below it can be noted that I have used water bills and council tax bill more: No. You need to hit at least 3 sources. When 6 documents in joint names (as required) are being submitted, the spacing needed will be between 4 and 5 mo...

Re: Cohabitation documents

Thanks for your reply. I've been collating documents but struggling to get something specific along the lines of 3-4 months. I've managed to gather the below, keeping in mind the three sources required. Does it matter if I am using certain sources more than the other, as below it can be noted that I...

Cohabitation documents

Hi. I am about to apply for my FLR (M) extension in May 2020, and needed to clarify on the proof of cohabitation documents required. I arrived in the UK on 14th October 2017, and have been residing with my husband ever since. The cohabitation documents requirements states that documents need to be p...
