The invites were supposed to be sent from 17th Aug onwards, we are already mid-week and so far there is no communicated update either via emails or as a service status update on UKVCAS site. Has anyone received the email to use the UKVAS IDV app yet? Opt-Outers started receiving emails from Thursda...

Important Points: Uploading documents onto the UKVCAS website If you upload documents to the UKVCAS website, you can submit them to UKVI before completing your biometric or identity verification check. Don’t worry. You only need to upload each document once. This can be via the website, at a Servic...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

I scanned all my pages including the blank pages. There have been cases reported where the UKVI requests the applicants to submit their passport hardcopy at a later stage for verification. So I would recommend to scan all pages including the blank/empty pages of your passport to be on the safe side...

This is not correct. UKVI contacted some of the applicants directly asking to submit their documents via email so that they can start processing. Please see the email verbatim below. Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

No one knows what's going on at the back end. Most of us have already uploaded our supporting docs on the UKVCAS website. There has been no communication from UKVI that suggests they are proceeding with our application prior to collecting the photographs. This is not correct. UKVI contacted some of ...

I received a very unsatisfactory response to the email I sent to ECAA team regarding my Turkish Businessperson ILR application and it appears that the departments are not really cooperating. Although I am already identified for biometrics re-use, I am still told to watch out for appointments. "...
