CoS duration different to contract

Hi all
I was issued a CoS letter but the work start and end dates are only for a year whereas my contract is for 3years or more.
Does my employer have to amend my CoS letter if so how can they do this?
Or do I need a new CoS letter with the correct work dates?

Re: Citizenship Application: NI resident, what happens after DAT1 / PSNI clearance?

So....after sending INIS an email querying eVetting invitation for NI resident in JUNE, and being told to send DAT1 in (which we did)...they have now sent us another letter (September) telling us that eVetting does not apply to NI residents and to request a DAT1 to send to them. That is a lost 3 mo...

Re: Irish visit visa from Northern Ireland

Hi, Best you apply for the visa 2 months in advance incase of any delays. The validity of the visa will depend on your departure date from Ireland (travel itinerary) and also the visa officer. It can start from the day it was issued or your day of arrival in the Republic. Since you are traveling to...

Re: Residency for Non EU parent of Irish citizen child

Yes I’m aware of this. The reason we are in NI with UK residency permit is because we didn’t meet the criteria for the join family D visa and still don’t as spouse is not working in Ireland. All these rules and regulations seem to be based on the assumption that one must be living in ROI’s 26 counti...

Re: Irish returning with Non-EEA spouse after exercising EU treaty

Yes that’s issued for 5 years. Just remember that if he applies for citizenship based on marriage with an Irish national, you both will be required to submit proofs of residence, so you should at least have something in joint names such as joint bank accounts and utility bills. Try to have some gro...

Re: Irish returning with Non-EEA spouse after exercising EU treaty

They probably won’t find it out initially. However, when your husband applies for his first residence permit using EU1 form, he will be required to select how you are exercising your EU Treaty rights - I.e. you must be either working, studying or residing with sufficient funds in Ireland. When your...
