Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hello everyone! Sorry if this is buried in the thread but has anyone experienced massive delays with BRP production? I applied through a solicitor 1 May, had my biometric appointment 26 Aug, decision 1 Sept and have now been waiting a month for my BRP to even be sent out! They still advised 7-10 bus...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Just to add to others, I just got an email saying they will resuse my biometrics. I last gave them in October 2017 and my visa expired on 4 May.

Do we think we will have to send in originals of any documents like passports, BRPs, etc with this new approach?

The UKVCAS free and paid appointments only references time of day you go in for your biometrics (peak hours, etc). It doesn’t indicate that you can choose priority service as this is a UKVI service. They haven’t specifically said what’s happening on 22 June but since those with previous appointments...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi All- Wondering if anyone has received confirmation that when the centers reopen next week and biometric appointments start again that the home office will reintroduce priority/ super priority service? My immigration lawyer seems to think there is no plan to reinstate this service at this time and...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Yes, perhaps I should have been more clear. I would like thoughts on if those of us that are forced to choose the standard 6 month processing time will be able to utilize priority/ super priority after the Centres reopen. It seems grossly unfair for us to all have to wait when normally we would have...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hello! LTR set to expire 4 May but was planning on getting super priority service which is obviously not available and I could not apply in time. Apply for ILR now, will my current visa extend until 31 May? Or do I have to apply before 4 May and choose standard processing? Any idea if they will let ...
