Re: change brc issued under eea to eu settlement

Hi saddleback I would travel across to England/Wales if you can afford and have time. As you can imagine due to pandemic everything around the world is working in its limited capacity. I had to travel an hour for my appointment. Hope you are able to find one in Belfast. Good luck Thank you. I under...

EU Settlement Scheme: application from abroad after 31/12/2020

I have revised the EUSS last night but did not get a clear answer to the question - i s the scheme open to applications after 31/12/2020 if relationships with the EU sponsor commenced before that date ? We will not be able to 'land' in UK before 31/12, meaning that we apply for the status under EUSS...

Re: Premoderation of topics

All my responses (including this one) go to pre-moderation, something not experienced earlier on this platform. I am not sure how this works? I don't believe that any of the Moderating team know either. This appears to be something introduced into the system by the Board Administrator, who is based...

Re: change brc issued under eea to eu settlement

What if there are no appointments to be had? There is only once centre - it is in Belfast, and we received an email saying that this is the final reminder to schedule an appointment, which we cannot schedule due to the lack of appointments.

Please suggest what can be done in such circumstances?

Re: EU treaty rights at border

Apply for EEA family permit in Podgorica. You can make the case that you are both temporarily residing in Montenegro and this is the reason for applying in MNE. This may be problematic, however. You will be asked for supporting documentation and this may include the need to prove common address, etc...

Not just for Irish citizens, but all children under 21 can benefit.
Hi Obie,
Offtopic, my messages are on pre-moderation and I cannot send PMs. Did I break any rules along the way?

Re: Settled Status for a child of an Irish citizen

I have now received an official confirmation regarding the list of documents required to apply on behalf of a child of an Irish citizen (UPD: Obie adds that the same path is applicable to other European citizens), who is not an Ir...

Thanks. Just saw this now, do I respond by sending an email back to the sender? Because I replied My confirmation through the email I received the proceed request. Re: Settled Status for a child of an Irish citizen

I cannot find the reference to the cost of ILE as part of EUS pathway. To the best of my knowledge, all applications under the Settled Status scheme are free. But wait for others to comment. Hi Simon, would you signpost/ suggest ppl on the forum to speak to? I have gone through dozens of sites and ...

Re: Settled Status for a child of an Irish citizen

Since you already have a DCPR dating from 2017, you should include that in the evidence, as well as proof that you were resident for at least a year afterwards - proof of longer residence would be better (to prove that you have not lost the PR due to absence) and so would be eligible for Settled St...

Re: Settled Status for a child of an Irish citizen

Thanks! Where can the list of documentation in support of the application for the indefinite leave to enter made outside of UK be found please? Re: Settled Status for a child of an Irish citizen

if read correctly, a child of an Irish citizen, if applying under the scheme, may obtain a settled status based on his/her Irish parent's residence if it would qualify a parent for such status (i.e. residing in UK for more than 5 years). The child would not need to have resided for 5 years in UK at...

Excellent. Thank you for confirming this. 7. Settled Status for a child of an Irish citizen

The relevant section of the gov.uk website states: If you’re an Irish citizen - You do not need to apply for settled or pre-settled status if you’re an Irish citizen. However, if you’re an Irish citizen and your child is not a British citizen, they’ll be eligible for either: - the same status that y...

Parents granted with Pre- and Settled Status and expiring EEA RC card

Hello, I followed a number of links posted here when answering others' questions on whether they would also get a physical card when granted pre-settled or settled status (e.g. here https://www.gov.uk/settled-status-eu-citizens-families/what-settled-and-presettled-status-means). It says - You will g...

Re: EEA Family Permit: is it valid after 31/12/2020?

Hello I can be wrong, by my understanding is that they are no longer valid to travel, work or prove any right beyond Dec 31, 2020. After that date people with these card would still have about 6 months to apply for the EU Settlement Scheme before it closes to new entrants for good. The last EEA car...

EEA Family Permit: is it valid after 31/12/2020?

Hello, I did search but there were no straight answer: is EEA Family Permit valid for entry post 31/12/2020 if issued before 31/12 and its 6 months validity extends well into 2021? This is a genuine question as my newborn is Irish by birth but cannot apply for an Irish passport yet to enter UK and w...
