You don’t need to do anything to get this extension. The purpose of this extension is so that you have sufficient time to apply to the relevant department to get your permission renewed. If your permission is based on standard stuff (marriage to Irish spouse, work permits, students etc) then you sh...
I have been trying to see the extension notice but it’s not avail on the inis website. So does this mean that the automatic extension is not yet executed. The Department of Justice website is where they announce new arrangements. INIS is just a small government body under the Department of Justice,...
I'm a bit confused. If IRP/permission is expiring April 1 but had been extended by the extension in Dec to April 20, does this new extension apply again to that April 20 deadline and extend permission further until September? Or does it apply only to permissions that are expiring from April 21 on a...

Is it normal to take more than 6 months to get the final decision. I do understand there is a backlog due to lockdown but how many months is a normal time to receive the final application and should a follow up be done. Hi there, I just think there’s a huge backlog at the moment, my final decision ...

Passports will no longer have a stamp when the IRP is renewed in normal situations. Some key takeaways: - For online renewals (Dublin residents), you no longer need to send your passport away. - Passports will no longer be stamped (regardless of where you live) for IRP renewals. - Passports will st...

Has anyone got lucky with the final decision. I am still waiting while my temp stamp will end of Nov.
Have seen that we get an automatic extension till Jan, so does it mean that the application will be kept pending till than rather than the 6 months period by which a decision needs to be made.
If you have told the office at the border, and they allowed you in on the basis of joining your EU spouse, then you should be able to register. You should talk to the officer explaining your situation. Took another appointment for the temp Stamp4 and managed to get it stamped which is valid till 27...

You cannot work until you are registered. the only reason that I ticked on the tourist category as my EU spouse was not traveling with me. That is not a valid argument in any sense. There is no requirement whatsoever to for the EU Spouse needs to travel with you. The vast majority wouldn’t, as thei...

If you have a visit visa, the officer might be correct not to give you a temporary permission, citing genuine concerns. If you are here on a Join Family visa, there is no reason that the officer doe...
You can do it either way, but you must have a valid signature
Just a quick question, once I have the final approval from the EUTR for the Stamp4 do I have to post my passport to them or visit in person with an appointment.
