Re: Pakistan Red List

UAE is also on UK’s red list. Anyone coming through UAE even if via transit will have to hotel quarantine in UK on arrival and pay £1750. Yes that's fine, I was aware of that (about the hotel quarantine) .. thanks but I was asking because of the issue of coming through Germany for "Nadbo's fia...

Re: Passport at Biometric Appointment

Hi all, My wife had her Biometrics last week. It turns out they didn't keep her passport. We didn't pay for the keep passport service. I assumed they would take it until a decision has been made and its ready to collect. My wife said at the appointment they did the full biometric but they just chec...

Re: Spouse visa (Pakistan) - 3 months or 6 months vignette?

Hi,

I had posted that the visa has been issued for 6 months. And yes it is for a fiancé visa. But like the above response states, it’s a 3 month vignette for spouse visas.

Re: Pakistan to Uk-travel route options after turkey in the red list

For Pakistani nationals, it’s quite easy to obtain a visa for Bahrain and I’ve also seen that Morocco seems quite simple. But of course these are on the amber list. I was also looking at Egypt, but it seems as though it takes a while to be processed, the information on their site says the decision c...

Re: New red list with a fiancé visa?!?

We’re still waiting on a decision :( applied 2 months ago now. Could you please keep us updated how your husband goes on with a fiancé visa at the border? I will do. I’m looking into him coming through Bahrain, as it’s not too difficult for him to get a tourism visa with a Pakistani passport. It’ll...

Exactly. There is a rush of course, because I’ve spent so much time separated from the person I love more than anything. Any idea when he’ll get it? We’re hoping for a decision in the next few weeks. Re: New red list with a fiancé visa?!?

Yes, I’ve not seen my partner for more than 8 months. So I’ve researched it and apparently people have been let into the U.K. with a fiancé visa from red list countries. Can we get a definitive answer on this please? Same here. I just want to be with him so we can married! Been waiting for this day...

Re: Reregistering marriage date possible??

Found the calculation for adequate maintenance: A – B ≥ C A minus B is greater than or equal to C. Second the hotel quarantine charges are extortionate for three people.
Children under 5 are not charged. From what you have said, it would cost you a total of £1750, for your wife and 2 children.

Thanks for this information. Looks like it’s best to stick with UK hotel quarantine instead. 😕 To be honest its like gambling. Many people are flying to Turkey from Pakistan and staying there for 11 nights to avoid hotel quarantine in UK. Note, Turkey is the second highest country in the world (after India) as per NEW corona daily cases. Situation is bad there and most likely will be added to UK’s red list soon. https://ww...
