I know somebody who did the exact same thing. I mean it's crazy, apparantley after you recieve your status etc, the danger to your life no longer exists. This countr'y immigration system is such a joke. If these people are really seeking asylum because they are in fear of their lives, they shouldn't...

Just a question... Will the new laws on immigration affect the people already here? For example, I know somebody who is on a 5 year work permit as a chef (he's been here in the UK for 2 years), he doesn't speak English very well, when he applies for ILR will the new laws i.e. the highly skilled thin...

Long and complicated.. case of fraud.

Basically, I know someone who claimed asylum in this country over a totally false basis. By the time I found out and reported it, even then I don't know if it was to the correct people it was too late. Her and her 3 children recived their british passports. Basically the woman i am talking about cam...
