Re: Citizenship Ceremony cancelled due to Covid-19

I guess the group ceremonies are out of the picture right now. I still hope we can get the private one although I wouldn't be surprised if the HO and councils will stop everything altogether for a month. I hope I am wrong. Croydon council doesn't provide virtual ceremonies so hey ho, game on.

Evening guys, I've looked on my council website and there is no where to book ceremony online. Is this council specific?
Yes, that is correct - no all the councils have the online option. In Croydon you need to call or email to arrange the ceremony.

Re: Citizenship Ceremony cancelled due to Covid-19

I just called the Home Office and they told me that I should wait until this evening to get my invitation letter. Re: Citizenship Ceremony cancelled due to Covid-19

@@Sohail222 - thank you for providing the info.. you were waiting for a long time then, perhaps they started printing them again as some members say. I got my approval only in the last month so I understand I have to be a bit more patient. Well, lets hope that Croydon Council will come up with the s...

Re: Best is the best way to upload documents?

Not familiar with ESA - presumably you were unable to work for health reasons so was there still a requirement to be available for work, or some kind of regular signing in? Perhaps you are overthinking this? Your absences are within the permitted numbers and I can't imagine UKVI matches up days to ...

Re: Best is the best way to upload documents?

Also, may I ask about document date validity, please? I have LITUK Exemption form signed by my doctor about 2 months ago. Will Home Office still accept it, or do I need to get another once with a more recent date? The only problem is that due to the COVID-19, it would be super tricky for me to get t...
