Re: Tier 4 - marriage cancelled due to COVID-19

Also, I showed my solicitor and he said to opt out so we can get a physical appointment as it will be quicker as the app is going to he rolled out in phases!
Is this wise?

Re: Tier 4 - marriage cancelled due to COVID-19

Thank you both so much for that. Today my husband received an email from UKVCAS saying that he can use his previous biometric information via the app, they said that they will send him details of how to download/use this app in the next few weeks. Just wondering what happens now? He will download th...

Re: Tier 4 - marriage cancelled due to COVID-19

Hi, Just an update. We applied through a solicitor as wanted to let a professional do it - had a lot going on recently, lost a close friend to COVID-19 so wanted to take the pressure off myself. Date of application is 29th July 2020. We have been informed that the biometrics appointments are going t...

Re: Tier 4 - marriage cancelled due to COVID-19

Thank you CR001, that was very helpful. I guess we just got a bit worried as the HO letter said that we may be subject to an investigation once we apply after the marriage. This has put my mind at ease now, I will apply next week when I have July's statement. Thanks a lot and I shall keep you update...

Re: Tier 4 - marriage cancelled due to COVID-19

Thanks. We were just thinking that especially due to the Global Pandemic it will take longer and we don't want to be waiting for a decision beyond the date of his visa expiry date - or is there some sort of rule that the applicant isn't classed as an ''over-stayer'' if they're waiting for a decision...

Re: Tier 4 - marriage cancelled due to COVID-19

Thanks.

I might as well wait two days for the July payslip and statement etc...

My husband's student visa runs out on September 1st, 2020.
It isn't too late to apply is it? As I think I might as well wait until early next week.

Thanks

Re: Tier 4 - marriage cancelled due to COVID-19

Thanks to everyone for their help. I am applying on Thursday. As I get paid every month on the 25th, I will NOT submit July's bank statement or Payslip. I am including 6 payslips and 6 bank statements (Jan 2020 - June 2020) and also my P60 from April 2019 - April 2020 - should this be ok? Is it also...

Re: Tier 4 - marriage cancelled due to COVID-19

Thanks! One issue I have noticed is that they ask for evidence of living together since two years! This isn’t possible as we only moved in together on 11th July and have only one electricity bill in both our names. Would that be enough? Also, in terms of the supporting documents do they get attached...

Re: Tier 4 - marriage cancelled due to COVID-19

Hi guys So I am about to apply this week for my husband’s visa. I am a little nervous and unsure if I should attempt applying for this myself online or seek help from the solicitor! I did call them up & the secretary said she will check all our paperwork and then submit it to Ilford where someon...

Re: Tier 4 - marriage cancelled due to COVID-19

That's great. Who must the letter be addressed to? The Home Office?

Thanks

Re: Tier 4 - marriage cancelled due to COVID-19

Thanks to both of the Moderators for helping. The letter from my Employer, who must it be addressed to? Is this information enough: • My name • Employment Start Date (I have worked there for 5 years!) • Current Salary • Fulltime Employment • I have earned over £18,600 since January 2020 (for 6 month...

Re: Tier 4 - marriage cancelled due to COVID-19

I am just a little worried, as even though I still meet all the requirements, the tenancy agreement is in my name but my partner is down as a ''permitted occupier'' - I guess this is because he is on a student visa which expires on 1st September. Would this still be ok? His name is on the agreement...

Re: Tier 4 - marriage cancelled due to COVID-19

Hi All, Just an update. My marriage has been scheduled for 11th July (Hurray!) Also, we have found an apartment and are due to move in 10th July (a day before we are due to marry at the Register Office) I am just a little worried, as even though I still meet all the requirements, the tenancy agreeme...

Re: Tier 4 - marriage cancelled due to COVID-19

Hi, can I first of all start off by saying that I was on here before but got banned, I forgot my password and had to sign up again. This will not happen again, I have learnt my lesson. I am in a huge predicament at the moment. I was due to marry my partner who is an Indian National currently on a s...
