Re: Applying for ILR Tier 2 route without resident labour market test

Thanks for the reply. I've just seen this Home Office update and it seems that I have two extra months to sort things out. I will wait until the RLMT is complete and then apply for a Tier 2 visa. :) https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-advice-for-uk-visa-applicants-and-temporary-uk-resid...

I didn't think she meant that, either. I just would like a reliable and correct piece of advice since everyone I've spoken to is giving me different answers and I'm really getting confused.

Re: Applying for ILR Tier 2 route without resident labour market test

Thanks for the reply. Do you know how I can obtain the official UKVI guidance on this matter? I called 0300 123 2241 the other day, and the person on the phone told me that I was able to apply for ILR in my case, which is incorrect.

Re: Applying for ILR Tier 2 route without resident labour market test

You need a CoS assigned to you before you can apply for tier 2. What is the job SOC? The SOC is 3545. You don't qualify for ILR if you are not currently working for a tier 2 sponsor. You need an employer letter for absence and current job details and you need one months payslip and bank statement a...

Applying for ILR Tier 2 route without resident labour market test

Hi. I've been in the UK on a Tier 2 (General) visa for 4 years and 11 months. I was dismissed by my sponsor last year, so I've been actively looking for a new employer although it's been quite challenging. I received a curtailment letter from the Home Office earlier this year. My current Tier 2 visa...

Re: **** COVID19 Life in the UK and English test centre closure **** (ONLY discuss here)

My test was rescheduled for 26 May, and I haven't heard from the LITUK test organiser about another schedule change yet. So I am not sure whether I should make arrangements to get to the test centre (I'll need to take a train as there is no available test centre in my town). I also think there is on...
