Re: Waiting for Passport!

I wonder if anyone else has had to wait long for an application made to HMPO Liverpool. I sent my daughters passport renewal application (from Singapore). FedEx shows delivered on 23.09.2020. HMPO says delivered on 28.09.2020 and processing on 29.09.2020. Three weeks later and I’ve not heard anythi...

Re: reply from HO/ complaint letter

You made a complaint while you the 6 months period didn’t even end? You are lucky you got approved, it’s not advisable to start complaint procedure before the time is up as British Citizenship is a privilege not a right.

Re: ILR holder vs British Citizen.

The main difference between ILR and British citizenship is ironically when you are abroad. Within the UK, there is very little difference between the two. Indeed, children born to ILR holders within the UK are British citizens by birth. ILR is a domestic legal status, that is not necessarily recogn...

Re: WAITING FOR MORE THAN 6 MONTHS FOR NATURALISTAION

It’s a bit excessive to have your MP involved after just 6 months, a slight delay during the Covid epidemic. Just wait, they will contact you when they complete their checks and reach a decision. Insisting won’t make them reaching a decision faster.

Thank you for taking time to respond. But in the field of Nationality details, Refugee - Convention1951 and Refugee - other are available. What's the point of that?
‘Refugee’ is a status under international law, not a ‘nationality. Your nationality is where your parents are from normally, Iran.

A ceremony by video conference would be ideal
Yeah but they need to send the naturalisation certificate and I don’t trust Royal Mail. They have lost many letters of mine in the last few months.

Re: 2ND NATURALISATION REFUSAL

Sorry a bit irrelevant question, how you received the refusal? Did home office e-mailed or posted to you? StAndrews why do you always ask people 'Did Home Office email or post'? Iam sorry but you are extremely rude someone got refusal and wants help but you can't help it but to ask the most sillies...

Re: Citizenship Ceremony cancelled due to Covid-19

Reply I received from Barnet council: Thank you for your email. We are aware that following the announcement by the Government, there is an intention to potentially enable small ceremonies from the 1st June, however this will be conditional on other factors being met. At this time, the guidance pro...

Hi everyone

Please can someone tell me any email to chase because I haven’t heard anything regarding my naturalisation application and I can see people who applied after me have got a decision. Thanks in advance.

Regards
They won’t reply unless the 6 months are exhausted.

Re: British Citizenship - EU Citizen

Hi there, I’ve applied for British Citizenship as an EU national (Romanian) on the 28th of January 2020, that was the day everything was sent off, biometrics included. I haven’t received absolutely anything since then, only a confirmation email of the application being sent. It’s almost 6 months no...

Because I have been doing things ever since coming to the UK. I studied full time for 4 years (college later uni). Have been working and payi...
