Re: References if applicant is housewife

Thank-you and apologies if I was being a bit pedantic. Final question (hopefully) would be list of documents - Scan of all pages of Passport - Scan of referee declaration form, from both referees - Biometric Resident permit showing ILR - Marriage certificate with husband, used previously in ILR also...

Re: References if applicant is housewife

Thanks!

One more question please:
I had downloaded reference form from the internet and one of the person signed with date as one day before the application payment date. Does that make a difference , or should I ask for a new form to be signed please? :(

My husband got naturalised as a British citizen recently and I have finished 12 months on ILR. I would like to apply for naturalisation now. I am a housewife here in UK and as such I have not worked with anyone in a professional capacity. For two references, can I ask below: 1. My husband work colle...

Re: Eligibility for Child Naturalisation after ILR

Child can apply when mother applies. Hi, I am asking this with utmost respect to the work and knowledge of the moderators - Is it possible to get a link to the official guidance where it says: child - under age 6 year - born outside UK/EU - stayed in UK for 5+ years - having ILR for less than 12 mo...

Re: IELTS Life Skills B1 over 3 years old

Hello,

Can the moderators please help if I can re-use my ILETS Life Skills B1 that was used 3+ years ago for ILR.

Test centre provider (IELTS) and code is still on approved list, the address however within the same city has changed.

I got IELTS Life Skills B1 over 3 years ago.

Used that certificate in a successful ILR application.

Can I use the same certificate in naturalisation application too?

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

From reading timeline threads and other posts in Facebook, Twitter - it would appear that all August IDV submissions have had their biometrics injected (attached) into their current case-file and the decisions should be coming by end of October (next 4 days). For September IDV submissions, I would s...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

they can deny as much as they want on UKVCAS flash message but the truth is, IDV app data wasn't being transferred to UKVI and double submissions were working because the data was going straight to UKVI You need to understand what happens when you submit data through IDV App - read this post to get...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Saw this personal opinion of a member in a private Facebook group: A caseworker needs Biometrics in your current case file to proceed. Some caseworker will pre-assess the application while some won't. If you have been chosen for biometric reuse, then after you submit your facial image through IDV Ap...

For all
  • March to July applicants
  • any Visa type
  • who did only single facial image submission through IDV App
  • still pending decision
Have you written to your local MP ?

If yes, has there been any acknowledgement or response ?
If no, what is your thought process for not writing ?

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

If you are selected to use the IDV app, please do so. Booking an appointment does not mean that your application will be processed more quickly. Looks like they are aware that majority applicants are going for appointments or dual submissions as applicants have lost confidence in IDV app due to maj...

Getting a little worried.. Is there any way I can contact the HO to get any kind of update? When would it be appropriate ...

Does UKVCAS know that UK is much more than Lansdowne Road in Croydon . Why is it that all service status updates in the last few weeks have mentioned price reductions and free appointments at this particular centre but has been silent on rest of the UK? With unfortunate rise in the Covid-19 cases, d...

There is no formal announcement that priority or super priority services will resume on 21st September.

However there are strong rumours that these will resume on 1st October on the same date that IHS increase comes into effect.
