Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

One basic question, once we get an invite to use IDV app by email whats the deadline to submit the application ? Is there any mention of that in the email ?

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

We opted to use the app, but now regretting it as it doesn’t seem to be coming any time soon. We applied June 7th. Has anyone tried opting out after the 7th August, Do you think we could? I'm in the same situation, i tried to opt out (14/08) lets see what happens. Ideally they should allow as the a...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

My wife was one of the luck ones that was selected not to attend the ukvcas biometric appointment. They'll use her previous fingerprints and she is supposed to give a picture online somewhat. But after the initial email telling us she was selected, we haven't heard anything from the Home Office. Ha...

Are they using the finger prints done 1 or 2 year before or even older one when we visa 5 years before ? Any Ideas
I was told by UKVCAS that they will reuse by biometrics, the last time i gave one was in April 2017 for my tier 2 visa.

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

From June 1st to 21st they opened appointments only for people that previously had appointment that were cancelled or rescheduled due to COVID. Now they are giving appointments for people that registered before they closed the centres (march 27th) but did not have appointments.

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

i can only assume based on the order of registrations. You may have to wait until they give a chance for people that registered in the last week of March, entire month of April & May before they come to June. My assumption is this could take a month or two atleast before they clear all backlogs....

Re: Priority Service - Standard Service // Spouse Visa Extension

I applied mine 28th May and still waiting for UKVCAS appointment. I friend of mine applied March 18th and provided biometrics 20th still waiting to hear from HO. He applied standard service as he was in no hurry to hear a decision.

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi, Appreciate if someone can advise on my situation. I have to travel overseas frequently, so the 6 month ILR decision time is not an ideal situation. I've got all the documents ready - just need to pay on UKVI website which currently only allows the normal option i.e., 6 moths decision time. Simi...
