My COS was generated 5 years ago and the current role is expansion of the role which is in the COS.So I should use the same SOC code as the COS.

One more query, should the Employer letter be dated before the application submission date?

I have a further query regarding the SOC code in the employer letter. Should it be according to the COS which was generated 5 years ago or the code should be the nearest to the current job title. The current title is different from the COS due to promotions.

Thanks for your prompt reply. The spouse dependant visa was issued on 26-11-2015, however it expires on 21-10-2020 which is when the main applicant Tier 2 general visa expires.
