If you are already in the UK, then this cap will not be applicable to you. However, if you apply on or after 19 July then you have to tot-up 100 points instead of 95. See link on UKBA website.

The new rules and limits are only for out of country applications. Your extension will be done against the rules applicable when you were granted the Tier 1 (Gen) visa. You should be fine.

Unfortunately you will not be able to apply uplift ratio on Indian earnings for the period you were in the UK. This case has been discussed many times and the result is always the same.

Hi All, My employer doesn't include the Bonus as part of the Gross Salary, it's a separate item in the payslip. Will the UKBA count it as part of my earnings or they count only the gross salary ? Thanks, Khaled If this is a taxable item and part of your compensation, then yes it will be considered.
