No need to carry babies. Just applied for my 1 month old son's OCI yesterday and we didn't take him. Just take his thumb prints on the form at home.

Called on the number given, but the person said that this is not postal dept and gave other number. When I called the aother number, it was within one of the counters (as I can hear it ringing) I have taken token for counter 7 for enquiry.... do you suggest anything else. Can confirm that the standard lead time is indeed 5 weeks now. Had gone earlier today but didn't submit as need to travel urgently in the next couple of weeks. As usual they haven't updated this anywhere on the website and cause so much of inconvenience!
