Re: HSMP extension...

I've been reading up on it all as I want to make sure i've covered all bases... 1. So if I want to extend my HSMP I must qualify under the Tier 1 General scheme extension, is that right? 2. How long will they extend for? My HSMP was 2 years originally. 3. Do I need to send in all evidence again, or...

Re: Payslips / Bank Statements

Does that mean the Process date on the Pay Slips should be same as the date the money goes in to the bank account because in my case, I got paid a day later than my Pay Slip shows. No; Thats not the case/possible mostly. I thought, as long as the amount on pay slips confirms / references with the a...

Re: HSMP visa extension - any consecutive 12 month period

Hi Push_HSMP and Sastha, I am also in similar situation but not exactly the same., the dilemma I am facing is I have to apply early if I need to comply with the "12 consecutive month" period. My contract is coming to an end by sep, 2009 which started on June 2008. I have the sufficient po...

Re: Stop and Serach in UK.....!!!!!!!!!!

My question is why do you want to take pictures alone? You can use www.google.com search name of place where you want to take pictures, click on images in the upper bar and there you are, a lot of images. If you want to be the part of that picture, you can use Microsoft paint. Advanced users can us...

Re: Payslips / Bank Statements

Hi All, Is Home Office particular about what month the pay is shown on the bank statements ? In my case everything is fine. Only that my company payroll at times has delayed transfers and the amounts actually get shown on the subsequent month statements ( For ex:Jan pay is shown in the first week o...

Re: 4 Year ILR Rules (JR 6 April 2009)

I have a query regarding the new 4 year ILR rules (Judicial Review judgment of 6 April 2009). I had initially applied for my HSMP approval in January 2006 which was refused due to error in assessment. I, therefore, re-submitted a fresh application on 26 April 2006 claiming the same points and using...

Check this post.
Chetan,

What about the single occupier discount of 25% on the Council Tax bill? Is that considered under 'Public Funds' benefits?

I wasn't able to understand clearly from the post.

Hello All, We are planning to apply TIER 1 (G) in Oct 09. Right now we are in WP since Oct 06. During this period, due to some incorrect understanding, we got 10% reduction (2nd home reduction)in Council Tax by showing that we have a house in India. Also after the birth of our child we claimed Chil...

Re: Anyone with 2 yr HSMP being affected by the credit crunc

Unfortunately the criteria will not be relaxed. As Chetan suggested, get another Part Time job or change to a better full time job at the first opportunity. If this does not work out, try and change to another appropriate Visa category other than Tier-1 (General). Hi all, I have two years HSMP visa ...
