Folks, Here is my recent experience with HSBC: 1. I receive monthly statements in post for my Current Account and Flexi Saver Account. These are on the usual bank stationary and are accepted by HO as I had got my initial HSMP on basis of these bank statements. 2. I also have an Online Saver Account ...

1600 for dep + 2800 for main applicant although.. not sure.. whether you must show the 2800 ... I think as posted in some previous messages here.. you can do away with not showing your 2800 ... but, if you can show 1600+2800(main applicant's) for maintenance for your dependant .. then that's the sa...

Which country are you applying in? Has BHC asked for TB report along with the application form?

Incorrect! Royal Mail dispatch date is always taken as date of application irrespective of it being sent by 2nd class, 1st class or Special Delivery (9am or 1pm). Have got this confirmed by HO. This is also evident if you look at the two addresses - The 'PO Box ...' address is used exclusively by Ro...

Tier 1 extension is not a problem. Your company is doing the right thing legally, as all other Indian IT companies in UK do, so don't worry on that front. As long as you have told your employer about your NI number (which you obtained in Jan 2008) and they have informed HMRC, it is good. The NI numb...

Though I haven't done this personally, but you could go in-person to the Courier delivery address in Durnham to handover the application. This is out of the ordinary though.

If time is not a constraint then DHL does offer a Same Day service but I think you have already tried this option.

This is a very subjective issue and is left to the Case Worker's discretion. As you will realize after going through the many posts in this forum, there is no set rule. If you apply much in advance of the expiry date of current leave, then I would suggest that you mention it in the Covering Letter a...

I agree with push_hsmp and it would be ideal if you disclose the reason to the Employer. However, having worked for an Indian IT company before, I know how paranoid they get when an Employee switches from WP to Tier-1. I had told my Employer that I need to take out a Mortgage and can't do so until I...

I would agree with you push_hsmp. Again, my assessment is that for straight forward cases, postal apps are quicker than in-person appointments. Could be true also. I guess this has to do with easing off of the pressure from those who applied early to make it before the 30 March deadline and lot of p...
