Help! When I use the link in the email to login to UKVCAS, the page just shows loading. Is it normal? Should I stay on the page or refresh! Many thanks!

Re: Ilr gap

I'm now on Tier 2. If I submit a new Tier 2 application now (when current leave is valid), and my current leave is expired before the new leave is granted (before I receive the new BRP), will the gap affect a later ILR application? Does this gap break the 10 year 'continuous' residency? Many thanks ...

First, you must ensure to apply before ILR application is decided. Some people have shared email addresses which you can use to let UKVI know
Ahh, thanks Zimba. I will have a search!

Re: Ilr to Tier 2 variation

You cannot have two or more pending applications as per law, so this means that one has to proceed only. Either ILR has to proceed or the Tier 2. UKVI will give you a chance to choose if they notice the second application. You may tell the UKVI that an application is variation of a previous applica...

Re: Ilr priority

1. Variation happens when you apply for a new application while one is pending 2. Apply normally, UKVI will view this as variation 3. You pay fully as normal (including IHS fees), SET(LR) fees will be refunded later Thanks Zimba! Really appreciate your answers! Just try to understand more about the...

Re: Ilr to Tier 2 variation

I've submitted the Set (LR) standard application last month and have received the email from UKVCAS about the biometrics reuse. 1. If I'd like to apply for Tier 2 now, is this doable in my case? Is this called variation? 2. How does variation work? I guess I do not need to withdraw the ILR applicati...

Re: Ilr priority

If the priority service is open, it is guaranteed to show as an option on the payment page? Are they released on a daily basis and I have to refresh the page regularly to see whether the slots are available. It only shows if available. The service is still suspended. I see. So it is not always show...

Your tier 2 status remains unchanged and you can apply at any time again.

Re: Ilr priority

Ignore that then re 28 days. Also remember, that even if priority is available, it is not a guaranteed service and you could still end up waiting weeks or months after paying for a second ilr application. Hi CR001, ahh, that makes sense. Yep, I think I will submit a standard application anyway. I k...

Re: Ilr priority

1. Your status remains tier 3 if you withdraw. 2. Refunds can take a few weeks. Note also that your supporting documents cannot be older than 38 days if you withdraw and resubmit. 3. No. Remember also, that there is no indication at this stage when priority will be available again. A member posted ...

No. It's because SET(O) and SET(LR) are separate ILR paths
Thanks Zimba, so should I expect longer than 8 weeks to receive a SET(LR) decision in normal times?

2. Yes
3. Yes

Re: Lost a job after submitting Set (LR) application

You cannot work if you lose your job. You can continue to work for your current sponsor regardless of your ILR application Hi Zimba, Thank you for your reply. Sorry for the confusion. Could you please answer the following questions? 1. Sounds like once I've submitted my Set(LR) application, my stat...

Re: Lost a job after submitting Set (LR) application

No. You are NOT allowed to start working for anyone other than your sponsor as a Tier 2 migrant unless you get ILR or a new Tier 2 visa (via a new Tier 2 sponsor). If you lose your job and apply for SET(LR), you must refrain from working until ILR is granted. This is because conditions of your TIer...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Super priority is NOT a guaranteed service. Tier 2 applicants should expect longer delays as UKVI may check with your employer to see that you are NOT furloughed and you remain employed :!: :!: I don't think whether being furlough or not will impact on this application at all. You are expected to b...

Re: Lost a job after submitting Set (LR) application

Set LR is not based on being employed. If you lose your job after you have applied it should have no effect. You won't however be able to work for any other employer until your ilr is granted and you have your brp card. Hi CR001, Thank you so much for your reply. Really helpful!! Sorry not sure if ...

Lost a job after submitting Set (LR) application

My visa is Tier 2 (General), will be eligible to apply for Set (LR) 10 years this August. What would happen if I lost my job after I submit and pay my Set (LR) application online, but before the UKVCAS biometrics appointment or in the position of waiting for a decision made on this application? 1. I...
