Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

My finger prints were taken 5 years ago when applying for my Tier 2 visa. I hope they can recycle mine.

Your ILR will be refused if you lose your job under Tier 2
Even if I still have my job at the point of application? It's the waiting period (which can be long time) I am worried about. Cheers.

Re: Early ILR Application

Thank you Zimba. It's good to know the 28 days rule doesn't really apply. There is no such a thing as 28 days rule. It is a concession made by UKVI for grant of ILR. You should be eligible on the day of decision Great to know thanks Zimba. I am considering early application because my employer just...

Early ILR Application

Dear all, Will appreciate some help here on the earliest application date. My understanding is that I can only apply 28 days before I qualify. I am worried about job security and would like to apply early if the rule permits. My BPR issue date is 13/08/2015. Does it mean I can apply now rather than ...

Re: ILR Application Date

Earliest date on any document, which is your BRP. Five years from that date minus 28 days. Also, there is NO such thing as 28 days rule. It is simply a concession made for ILR applications by UKVI Hi Zimba, This is an interesting point. I thought I can only apply 28 days before I qualify. I am worr...

Re: ILR when you submit online application

Hi, I need to apply for my ILR in the coming months. I’m aware of the 28 days rule prior to the end of the 5 yr period. My 5 yr period is the 4th of august which makes the 28 day rule the 7th of July. Is it possible to put in an application online before the 7th and book biometrics on or after the ...

Re: Ilr priority

Hi all, I have already completed my application form and will submit my application in July. I understand there is only one option available right now, i.e. standard, but I am really hoping they can re-open priority services. If they do re-open, do you think I can see the option automatically on the...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi all, This is a very stupid question and apprecisate your patience and help in advance. I am going to submit my application in July and I hope appointments will become available to new applicants at that time. I have read through some replies and people are saying we can create a UKVCAS account an...
