visa for an australian yachtsman to sail from the states

Hi all.

Can anyone tell me what visa i need to sail a boat i buy in the states, out of the country? I am not earning money in the states and i am Australian with a UK visa. My wife will be sailing with me and she has UK and Australian passports.

Hi victoria. thanks for the advice. I guess that i just have to go sit in the sun for a month(i heard it takes 2 weeks but am i better off booking for a month?). what are the chances of it being refused? bearing in mind the home office let us marry in the uk. my wife has a job and we own a house./ ...
