Re: ILR Long residence application (lost passport)

Adding to @CULLINAN's post above. If you have a full copy of the lost passport, then that's all you need. If not, I'm sure it asks you when you're filling out the Set LR form, whether your old passport(s) is in your possession. If you select "No", you will then see a list of documents you...

Yup, looks/sounds like it. The despair is making a return, unless there's a Christmas miracle next week and they at least start dipping into post 29th August and early Sept applicants. Some of the applicants might not have updated their approval status/timeline. So the above data might not reflect ...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

I think the pace of decisions have gone down significantly. The time for decision was bout 85 days before lockdown 2.0. Now, this has ballooned to 105+ days Close, but not quite. It was 85 days on average and now, Set LR 15th August onwards applicants are averaging 94 days (date of application to d...

Thank you so much for your response, I appreciate it.
You're most welcome! I hope someone who's been through a similar situation can offer their input for you. Also, were told to stay put by the doctor? If so can you get written confirmation of this?

Re: ILR(LR)-Time spent outside the Uk for health reasons

Long residence absence requirements are strict and cases are normally refused for not meeting them...however caseworkers may apply discretion in compelling or compassionate unavoidable circumstances. You will have to provide a lot of solid evidence that your circumstances were compelling, unavoidabl...

Christmas period/holidays normally is a slow period for decisions (20th Dec - 4th Jan). I think it may slow down decisions overall before picking up in early Jan 2021 again. Exactly why I'm hoping for a pre 20th Dec miracle. To be honest, I don't/didn't expect any decisions over that period (as a w...

Just adding to my previous post. I would suggest starting at the following link: https://www.gov.uk/cancel-visa as well as contacting the caseworker through the email address you have. I would suggest doing this ASAP as once they make a decision, this will (most likely) not work. Just a note to conf...

I am about to upload my documents to UKVCAS and it mentions to upload all documents in black and white to reduce size. All my scans are in Colour and below 6MB per file.
