Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Sorry to hear you haven't had a decision yet mate. 5 Set LR July applicants are still waiting, 3 of whom have potentially complicated cases. Question for you...what visa routes have you been on in the last 10 years and were all your applications made in time and approved first time? @ajitu92 I see,...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi All, I was eligible for ILR since 6th April but could not apply before lockdown happened and on June 4th applied when they opened back. Applied for ILR for me and my wife together. More 15days to go to complete 6 months and hoping that I get it before that. Our company has premium account with H...

Re: Want to apply for ILR through 10 years route. Process question

Hello friends!! I have been in the UK for 10 years in different visas starting to study to spouse. After the lockdown lifts, I am planning to apply for the ILR. Any idea on how the passport situation works? I might need to visit home country for medical emergencies and I am worried about giving awa...

Re: ILR Long residence application (lost passport)

Adding to @CULLINAN's post above. If you have a full copy of the lost passport, then that's all you need. If not, I'm sure it asks you when you're filling out the Set LR form, whether your old passport(s) is in your possession. If you select "No", you will then see a list of documents you ...

Re: SET (LR) documents help

Evidence you have to prove the relationship with xxx (for example marriage certificates), and correspondence addressed either to you joi...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Indeed although these Set (M) decisions seem to take ages! Patience is definitely required, my partner is an early Sep applicant. Fingers crossed for everyone patiently waiting Nev I am early Sep SET(M) as well. You know with the HO you never know. 'May applicants' for instance have been forgotten ...

Date of first entry. The earliest you can submit would be 11 April 2021 minus 28 days.

Re: ILR (LR) Reg

As @CULLINAN said above, Set LR is only based on 10 years continuous lawful residence. Your employment status, salary, marital status etc. does not matter as long as you meet all the requirements (absence limits, immigration and criminal history etc.)

Hi Guys, Just wondering – if any of you (especially the moderators) have any idea about pre-pandemic ILR (set LR) timeline on standard applications. Wanted to compare pre-pandemic timeline to present, just to see if HO is anywhere near to reintroduce Priority/Super Priority services as a lot of us ...

Your phone will need a hard reset, possibly a factory reset then
I wonder too. I'm counting down the days and hoping and praying. I'm a sleepless, nervous wreck the closer it gets 😂😂

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

The progress in general seems to have slowed down. No more swift decisions for Set O reported. My solicitors claimed that due to lockdown, home office has to reassign duties to staff that can work from home and this may well affect the number of cases that can be assessed in a given timeframe. I wo...
