Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

1st day of lockdown and nobody has reported any decision so far. What a great start... @klownking Mate, I have avoided saying anything till now, but I have been observing your posts for a while. You need to relax and let go. We're all in the same situation and there is nothing really in our hands a...

Hi, 1) Is it possible to apply to ILR while on Furlough? (Assuming I will get a letter from my employer mentioning they are happy to employ me for foreseeable future. ) 2) I am currently on tier 2, What happens if I get redundant while waiting for the ILR result? Do caseworkers contact company and ...

@Ajitu92 Hehe yes  🤳🏼 Your analysis is commendable 👏 Why thank you, what can I say, I have the easy pick in terms of Set LR as it is all falling in order! It seems to be 'falling in order' for only those who managed to submit in-person bio metrics (I include myself in that finite few lucky one...

Adding on what @Ajitu92 said. Once you click “book an appointment”, you will be rerouted to UKVCAS, where you will create an account. An access code will be sent which usually lands up in Junk folder. Woohoo, I finally beat Mr. superspeed fingers aka @CULLINAN   I would like to take this ...

There is no more IDV. Once you submit your application, click on the link on the "further steps" page. Create your UKVCAS account, log in and start looking for appointments. Make sure you check all the centres in the UK. New appointments are released at 12am every day, when one extra day ...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

a question, once i submit my application tomorrow, do I go ahead to the UKVCAS and book an appointment, presumably there will be one available within the next 28 days?, and if i book an appointment straightaway, then is there a possibility that i would receive an invitation to the IDV App or i won'...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Well, if you think about it, there is no way to really know/verify this. Unless you MP explicitly tells you so, which is improbable at best... I’m just speaking from regret as someone who wrote to her MP and the gentlemen was kind enough to issue a very formal looking letter (with all this seal and...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

I’m just wondering in general if anyone experience a slow down in their application because of reaching out to MP too early :?: As in your MP is kind enough to raise it with HO and they are like you know what we will let you wait the full 6 months :? Well, if you think about it, there is no way to ...

Do you have any friends in your country of birth, nationality or any other country where you have lived for more than 5 years? Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Congrats @gyanp. Seems like it is the UKVI not UKVCAS registration date then. True, at least for Set (LR). I think more specifically (speculation) it might be date of UKVI registration for the specific application (and not just account creation) plus date of payment for the same application (more s...
