Few LR cases who submitted their ILR (LR) application on 1st and 2nd Aug got their ILR approval today.
Where have you seen this, please? Nothing on the Set (LR) timeline thread...latest is 29th July on there.

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

A more niche question to you. How long did it take HO to clear out June applications? It will be interesting to see this trend for July as well when HO move on to August applications. This will tell us if HO are catching up or mainitaining the 3-4 months lag between application submission to decisi...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

So a caveat with this answer is that the number of June Set (LR) applicants (10 applicants) who have posted on this forum is significantly less than July applicants who have done the same (33 applicants). So the data and subsequent interpretation will be skewed. Now, that's out the way, so based on...

@Ameline @Ajitu92 Please correct me if my observation is wrong. I believe applicants who went for dual submissions on/after 21st Sep seems not to have worked and MAYBE pushed back in queue as per the date of biometrics submitted in-person? Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Thanks for the insight 👍 Most welcome :D @Ajitu92 Also, doing some more research after our last night’s discussion, I came across a couple cases where SET(LR) decisions were made before they completed 10 years lawful residence and they had problems. Although the official guidance clearly says one c...

We have to follow/advise according to the OFFICIAL guidance not what I/you think is right. Also, your hypothetical scenario has no ...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

The date of application is the date you pay and submit online. As long you submit IN TIME i.e. when you “qualify”, biometrics date/documents submission date is irrelevant. For SET(LR), if someone applies in time i.e. 10 years minus 28 days from date of initial ENTRY AND uploads and self-submits the...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

So the best course of action would be to apply 28 days minus date of initial entry (Set LR) and do your biometrics after you have completed 10 full years Would like to make a correction here. As long SET(LR) submit and pay for an application when they complete 10 years minus 28 days counting from t...

Some more clarification expanding on what @CULLINAN has said. The poster has confused a lot of people indeed. Oh my bad. Not sure why they keep saying it, if it’s inaccurate
No worries, no harm done. There is no evidence that it is not accurate either, to be honest. The bottleneck could be (and probably is) on UKVI's end rather than UKVCAS.

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Don't think they've started processing August applications yet - still doing the rounds for July applicants. Looking at timelines for SET LR so far, looks like around 99 days from date of application, so most likely decision due sometime mid next month. This is about right for Set (LR) at the minut...
