Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hmmm this is interesting from the latest flash message... After you have submitted your application via the IDV app or at a UKVCAS appointment, all supporting information is sent to UKVI within 24 hours. UKVI have told us that they aim to deal with ALL applications in date order. This means that you...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Just checked and there is no such option...would be helpful to post a screenshot maybe? Same here I cannot see this option and all looks same for me. Disappeared for me too now. Think there was a bug on their website and they have fixed it. I see that option but if you answer 'Yes' to Do you have s...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Just a suggestion that might help with tracking - could all the people posting about not having received IDV app or biometrics appointment invitations for pre 11 Sept. applications also post whether they have applied through solicitors? There have been issues seen with applicants who have applied th...

Re: 10-year ILR and curtailment letter

No problem at all, happy to share my learnings. I know it's a stressful time and situation to be in. I would say you need to be very careful in terms of the 28 day concession. Normally the 28 day concession is not an issue if there are no doubts of being able to complete those 28 days even without a...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Just to share that I got my ILR approval email this morning. Big thank you to moderators and other members sharing their story as this helped maintain my sanity while waiting for a decision. Timeline as follows: ILR Set LR application: 20 May 2020 IDV submitted: 27 August In person appointment: 14 ...

Re: 10-year ILR and curtailment letter

Hey just thought I'd chip in as I am and have been in the same boat as you. I got made redundant while being on TIer 2 at the end of February and was completing 10 years September (this month). CR001 already answered your questions, but thought I'd let you know my experience. I didn't receive a curt...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Just attend the appointment. Yeah that's what I was thinking as well. Given the details are "sent to UKVI within 24 hours" after the app submission, and that my appointment is within the next 24 hours, I don't want to cause any unintended glitches on their systems. When I received the inv...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hmmm interesting...so after applying (SET LR) on 8th Sept. I have received the IDV app invitation. I also have my biometrics appointment booked for tomorrow. I have already uploaded and submitted all my documents on the UKVCAS portal. I'm just wondering whether I should do the IDV app today before ...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

If it's any help, I booked an appointment yesterday and got the IDV app email 3 hours after (applied 8th September). I managed to get an appointment on 21st September so I haven't bothered with the IDV app and will just go directly for the appointment.

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Just received an email from UKVCAS to book appointment. They are now sending emails to "applications between 5 – 11 September 2020", so please watch out if you belong to that group or try luck by logging into your UKVCAS account. My application was made on 5th Sep. Thank you for this info...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

So before we all get ahead ourselves regarding the priority and super priority services resuming, I just rang the UKVI Coronavirus Immigration Helpline, and they said that there is no news for when it might return but there are definitely NO plans to bring it back this month. I only got told to keep...

There is no formal announcement that priority or super priority services will resume on 21st September.

However there are strong rumours that these will resume on 1st October on the same date that IHS increase comes into effect.
Where are these rumours coming from?

If you have already applied you can not change the service standard even if super priority is resumed now. Yes, I understand, but surely I can withdraw and re-apply as my current leave has not expired/been curtailed. Correct to withdraw before submitting biometrics. If you withdraw, don't you loose...

Time to continuously refresh the UKVI page now in the hope that they re-introduce priority and super-priority or some news about it at least before I have to go through with the biometrics booking (i.e. 21st Sept)  If you have already applied you can not change the service standard even ...

beat me to it @CULLINAN! I have been refreshing the UKVCAS page every 10 minutes and the one time I'm doing something else they update it haha!

Sounds like priority and super-priority might make a come back sooner than expected then? But who knows! :| :|

Hi, Can anyone tell why those who have applied for SET(LR) aren't seeing any quick response? Also, please people who have applied for SET (LR) can you use the SET (LR) only page and add your timeline so we can see if they are working on our application. https://www.immigrationboards.com/indefinite-...

Re: 10 year ILR - visitor stamps in passport

Shouldn't really matter as you had valid visas, but if you feel the need to, you can always explain it in a cover letter for peace of mind.
