Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

That's heartening to see decisions in date order. Thanks again for keeping us updated on the stats Who're the 9th and 21st August users? My hopes of hearing back on my case in 2020 have faded. I am thinking my caseworker is already out for Christmas/New Year as Sepetember applicants have begun rece...

Re: Taking on additional work while waiting for ILR decision and unemployed

Hi Ajitu92, agreed my view upon reading the guidelines are in sync with yours. When you had the offer for a temporary contract, did you ask the companies lawyers to see what would be possible? Also, does that fact that I'm on section 3c currently (my t2g had expired three weeks after I applied for ...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Same here mate. Who knows how long it's going to take now. That being said, there haven't been many September approvals and most 29th-31st August are still outstanding. Not sure how they have allocated cases amongst and between caseworkers tbh. Overall the approval rate has declined as we approach ...

Re: Taking on additional work while waiting for ILR decision and unemployed

I had/have the same situation and question, and I will post my understanding from reading all the rules and guidance. I will also wait for more experienced members of the forum to clarify whether my understanding is correct or wrong. As far as I understand, on T2G we can take on ADDITIONAL employmen...

@ajitu92, how's the Aug Set LR decision status now? All August Set LR until 28th are done (on my list) bar a couple. 1 from 9th (I suspect the user hasn't updated their timeline) and another from 21st (that seems to be a complex case). August Set LR outstanding applications now are: 29th August - 2...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

How do you use the right to work website if your current BRP has expired? You can not. Thank you Culliman for your response. I have seen a lot of people saying that their right to work changed before they got their ILR response. So I was wondering how to check my RTW while awaiting ILR. I tried usi...

Re: ILR Long Residence Route

Just adding on to @Zimba's comment as a note of caution. Do ensure that her PBS dependant visa/leave is valid until/beyond when she becomes eligible for Set LR on her own merit.

I wonder the pace of set LR still is around 3 months. And pace of Set(O) is quick or improved, some cases within a month for set (O)
Sorry, what is the point you're trying to make exactly?

Hi again, a quick query - do I need to just take just the originals or photocopies of documents as well to the biometric appointment?

Thanks for your help.
Just originals

Re: Apply for ILR on 10 years long route

Need a lot more detail on this. What is this interpreter visa you are referring to? Did you make that application in time (before 28/03/2014)? When and why was it rejected and what is the deal with the police station? How and on what basis have you got a BRP on 31/10/2018?

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi, I had a quick question that I can't quite seem to find an answer to here. In uploading my documents to the UKVCAs - do I scan and upload every single page of my passport, spouse's passport, and my previous passport? or just the front and back page? I am applying under SET (M) for ILR. Apologies...

Fewer is an understatement....only 17 Set LR for September recorded in my dataset. Many wait for a decision before updating the timeline. Still, 17 for September appears way few. As an early September applicant, hope you guys get it Thank you @poper. Too true. The August entries have ballooned over...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

True, but not too far now though. Also, given that we've just had our first non-escalated September applicant approval indicates that they must be at the end of the August list. Also (at least according to my dataset) August has had the highest number of Set LR applicants (83), nearly double the ne...

Re: System still shows mandatory actions / book appointment

Hi all, I have attended the biometric appointment at UKVCAS end of November and I received a text said that all my materials have been submitted to UKVI that day. However when I logged into the UK Gov application website, it still has mandatory actions (e.g. download family consent form, book appoi...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

It seems like there has been a lot of new approvals for ILR LR August applicants and unfortunately I seem to be the last one standing (Application on 20th August, IDV 6th September and F2F appointment 5th October). I also sent an email a couple of weeks ago to escalate the case as I needed to sit a...
