Re: Affidavits for approved applications and next ceremony

This is as strange as it can get. Do you mean that you got few 'Your application continues to be processed' mails whereas the application might actually be approved ? If the letter can be lost, application reference number can be incorrect, what good an email id is to them ? Don't want to miss few ...

Re: Renew stamp 4

COVID lockdown only started 10 months ago, so you left Ireland 8 months before COVID started. Using COVID as an excuse won't stand at all. You were no longer considered a legal resident when you left the state for more than 3 months without informing INIS and having a valid reason. I can't see how ...

Re: Pending decisions/approvals on applications from 16-17

Its not an exception, its a norm for many applicants of Asian origin. I am an Asian woman of Vietnamese descent. The fact that I am a dual Russian-American citizen doesn't make me any less Asian. Ireland is the most welcoming country I have ever lived in. No body doubts Ireland is a welcoming count...

Re: Pending decisions/approvals on applications from 16-17

I had applied in May 2018. Still waiting. No approval. Last time I emailed them in November, got a reply that my application is at advanced stage, whatever the hell that mean... It means you just westing time so you better sent them to a high court for a quick decision otherwise you won’t get it so...

Hi This post is for those who applied pre-pandemic and have been waiting an excess period of time in receiving a response on their citizenship application, and are looking at what options they have to bring a resolution to their application: - What steps did you take to force the department to make...

Re: Citizenship delays: FOI and an application for an Order for Mandamus via the High Courts

There was good recommendation in one of the posts on forum. If you decide to go to High court after FOI, ask a lawyer to write a letter to INIS that you will initiate court action in 4 weeks in relation on citizenship decision. In some cases it might save you time and money. I did write to them bef...

I actually payed 900€ for the lower couse I got the lower since I applied in February 2018 , 6-7 months ago I had to pay the court fees it was like 350€ only Total waste of time and money. Doesn't worth it. I'd rather be patient until I receive decision. I can still enjoy life travel around with my...

The way you can get the divorce quickly it’s you can contact inis and let them know that you broke up and don’t want to live anymore with him so you need the divorce process, but Likely in this case it looks like his been using you only for his visa so you should better report him straight way becou...

do they usually give a positive decision or also a negative decision after 3 years waiting? There are some people waiting up to 5 years for positive decision, it feels like a lotto. Some people received it within 6 months and some wait for 3-5 years, sometimes from the same family. Did you request ...
