Re: Tier 2 switch to tier 2

Your question is not clear, March 2020 is already done. Assuming it is 2021, as per the current immigration law you need to undergo RLMT if your occupation is not under shortage Occupation. However, we still don't know what will change under new immigration law effective January 2021

Thanks a lot Rags1238. This is really helpful at this time for me. Re: Shortage Occupation List

What do you find ambiguous about it saying "all occupations"? It is clear it means all occupations as stated and the details are available in appendix J with the salary thresholds. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration-rules/immigration-rules-appendix-j-codes-of-practice-for-skilled-wor...

Re: Shortage Occupation List

You want member who are unpaid volunteers to search through appendix j and appendix k for you with just a job title??? Useful to post what the SOC is if you want help!!! Apologies, that was not my intention. I wasn't completely sure and hence dint post the SOC. But it should be either 2121 or 2129.

I had sent an email to CIH team for assistance on the same topic.. here's what they have to say. You will need to be switching from/to an eligible route and you’ll need to meet the same visa requirements and pay the same application fee. It is not possible to switch into short term visa routes where...
