Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

I would reiterate this topic is not to discuss unnecessary worries/emotions. Please read the topic name before posting. I can understand the worry for someone who applied in March - July but I fail to understand the worry for applicants who just applied in August/Sep. It is too early to expect deci...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Yes, but largely depends on the location you choose. Appointments were available next day at Lansdowne road, Croydon I am in Leeds and I have just seen that there are locations in Leeds, Wakefield and Manchester. The thing is I do not want to submit my application and then get stuck because once th...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

I have just completed my biometrics as Lansdowne road Croydon. Fingers crossed :| The staff handling my biometrics made an interesting remark. She said HO have checked my documents and they look OK. They don't see any missing/unclear document. I asked if it was the system doing a check or HO staff....

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

I have done my biometrics on 5th of September via IDV app. I should have gone for the in-person biometrics. I have just looked at the UKVCAS website the appointments are available for next week @£135/person. This is absolutely ridiculous. Well, I am not in a rush and could wait for the decision. Su...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Thanks CULLINAN as usual you got the point. My husband is British, I don't have to wait for 12 months and can apply for Naturalisation straight away. I will use IDV for Naturalisation straight after I get my ILR even if this will be next week as my circumstances will change by then and I will not ha...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Nice  . This is definitely a coincidence, as 28 Aug- 04 Sep applicants received this email last night regardless when we uploaded documents, I uploaded and submitted mine on 07/09. It is entirely up to you to judge whether you go for in-person appointment or use the IDV. I personally did not t...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

There is no need to give source as it is just common sense mate. Example: There are 2 available directions in order to get to some place. You would decide to take right or left but not both at the same time. Either you fully believe in IDV from taking the picture and liveliness to the waiting time f...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Many thanks CULLINAN and welcome back. We are all grateful that you did 🙏. I hope there will be some updates at UKVCAS by today or even by 14/09 for 28 August onward applicants. Anyone who applied on/after 28th August. This maybe helpful. Just so you know. Once you pay and submit, you will have to w...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

I am a September applicant (04/09) and have been following this forum since the lock-down started in late March 2020. This forum was very helpful to many of us in very hard moments of doubts and anxiety. Many of us want to travel, are losing jobs and mortgages because of the delays. I, everyday, rea...

Do all the supporting documents need to be dated on and within 28 days prior to 03/09/2020 Yes. or can I submit the online application and wait for some documents to be produced, for example the bank statements to be posted and may be dated later than 03/09? Re: ILR Documents Required set M

However, my husband is with Natwest and they don't have a stamp. If they can print it on their official stationary then no need of any stamp otherwise order your postal statement, which usually arrive in 7 days and you planning to apply in 3 weeks. Will try to print in branch. I will be illegible t...

Re: ILR Documents Required set M

Hi All, I will be submitting my ILR M application in 3 weeks time. 1 - I was wondering if the Home Office accept the e-payslips that are emailed to us every month without a stamp or signature. Or should me and my husband both ask the HR to sign/stamp them? Yes so far showing details of the employer...
