This is a generic rule. Does not apply to everyone. If you are chosen for IDV. Its fine.

@user5 Glad you made it! Sometimes all finger prints do not match due to dry skin, burns, cuts etc. As long as 8/10 matches your fine. Nothing to worry. Hi, I submitted and paid for my application on the 11th of September. I uploaded the consent form on ukvcas on the 12th and therefore also dated it as being signed on the 12th. If your turn comes on time. You will be done in 15-20 minutes. If there is a backlog on the day it can take longer. I would say to be on the safe side keep 2 hours margin.
Thanks!

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

You can follow hit and trial method. The past pattern shows applicants are able to book an appointment/access IDV app even before an official update. So keep checking randomly. Thanks! I hadn’t even thought of downloading the app before getting the email so will do that now. Fingers crossed the app...

if you have a copy of final submitted form you can find out UAN from there, and then chase with UKVCAS, i am assuming the email used is of solicitor, and rightly said they have many applications under same email so its get difficult chasing to confirm if they have created account ukvcas. Hi, I was ...
