Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Update: UKVCAS advised via Twitter that my Nov application hasn't been submitted to UKVI in the first place because I haven't booked and attended a biometric appointment yet. They said once I attend the appointment the application will be sent to UKVI. So I think I don't need to worry about my appl...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

OP withdrew the initial application in Oct. OP applied in November again. There was no IDV app in November 2020. OP should have treated the November application as a NEW application and should have submitted biometrics at UKVCAS centre. The UKVCAS emails OP received was most likely automated generi...

You're basically unsure if you did IDV for old or current application. Send a DM to UKVCAS through Twitter to check if biometrics have been submitted for your current application OP withdrew the initial application in Oct. OP applied in November again. Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

I applied for SET(LR) in November 2020 but still haven't yet received email to log my biometric details on IDV app. Does anyone have a similar issue? I'm worried that my application has been put in a limbo and there may be some kind confusion? Because I applied in Sept 2020 for SET(LR) and due to wo...

Re: Working full time while ILR pending

Or is there any way that I can put my ILR application on hold? The application fee is a lot so I hope to see if I have an alternative option. Two applications can't run concurrently and before withdrawing make sure to have surplus leave. Okay, thanks a lot. I will withdraw my ILR. I received an ema...

Re: Working full time while ILR pending

How does sponsor switching works in this situation? While your ILR application is pending, you can only work for your tier 2 sponsor. You cannot work for another employer yet. Do I need sponsor B to give me tier 2 visa at all while ILR result is pending? If you want to change employers or sponsors,...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

I submitted my application for long residence ILR on 7th August, haven't uploaded my documents yet because I'm waiting to see what happen but I've not received any communication nor able to book biometric appointments (as expected).

Has anyone heard back for their August applications?

Above might not be needed.
Thanks again! Uploading these additional ones won't affect the application in a negative way though right? I'm hoping they will somehow make it easy for caseworker to see there's no reason to reject me... Please share your thoughts. Thank you!

Thank you, I will do that. How do I send the cover letter? Do I upload it on UKVCAS with all other documents?

10 year route ILR - date first entered the UK

Dear Experts, I am applying for 10 year route Long residence ILR and I am not sure what my first date at UK should be. I first entered the UK on the 14th January 2010 on Tier 4 child visa. However, by 14th January 2020, I went over 540 days limit because I was outside during school holidays etc. So,...
