Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi all, A quick question: what happens if by the time the BRP is ready to be sent out by the HO, I have moved to a new address? Thanks in advance!!! You will have to keep a contact at your old address. Also, you can use gov website to change address but how quick it reflects on the system is a ques...

Re: BRP not Received

Hi there, Just to share with you my experience. I received the decision email from HO on 10 Nov. Then 11 Nov, I received an email from HO with the tracking details for Fedex/TNT. As per the delivery date on that tracking, I received my BRP this morning (13 Nov). Maybe you will need to wait for the e...

Re: Right to Work (ILR in expired passport)

Hi all, Just a quick update: by coincidence I received an email from the HO that my application to transfer my ILR to BRP is successful and I should receive my BRP within 7 working days. I hope my timeline below will be helpful for those looking to transfer their ILR from an expired passport to BRP....

Right to Work (ILR in expired passport)

Hi all, I wonder if there's anyone here who could advise: Due to the current Covid situation, I am unable to go for the premium service to get my ILR vignette transferred to a BRP as proof of right to work. I have recently been made redundant and thus been seeking a new job. Should I inform my poten...

Transfer ILR to BRP

Hi all, Just wondering if anyone here can share your experience on the timescale for transferring the ILR (from expired passport) to BRP? I have just attended the in-person biometric submission last week and wonder what to expect (although I know it can take up to 6 months). Also, does the 6-month s...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

@Cristina88 Guru, Angel, Messiah, Cullinan, Finally am taking your advice and not waiting anymore to be in the queue and submitting today, realised no need to wait for 'normalcy'! I have all docs ready so best course will be to pay & submit and then I upload docs on UKVCAS (getting login / pwd ...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

@otmotmotm No physical passport photo is required. They will take your digital photo at the appointment. You will have to wait for instructions as when to book an appointment in due course. Ah ok - so I do not need to upload any digital photo either? In that case I will just wait to receive the app...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

@Cristina88 If I upload all the documents on the UKVCAS website on 20th itself, what documents are required for the appointment? In addition to my previous post for you. After you pay and submit; the best approach will be to upload all documents on UKVCAS and submit to UKVI via the document upload ...
