Solicitor sent the warning letter and was told they're going to revert with final decision in 3 months after they've carried out a final background check. What's meant by this other than garda vetting? Is there anything else regarded as background check?

My first vetting was done last year June 2021. Then they sent me another evetting in January 2022 that the minister requested an upto date vetting and disclosure was viewed in February 2022 until now no approval. Working full time. I just received the e-vetting invitation on 17/08/2022 and sent it back to them the same day. I later realised I should have sent a copy of an ID for verification, it that true? I totally forgot about it, can you suggest what can be done now?
