Hi, Just one other question about bank statements. I understand that I am required to supply three months of bank statements prior to my application. PSW - help please

Hello, I would be grateful if anyone could help me with my PSW (post-study-visa, Tier 1) application. I came to the UK on a student visa in 1999 and this visa is endorsed in my old passport which is damaged. Since then I have been on workpermit (2006-7) and changed it back to student visa (current s...

PSW

Hello

Has anyone applied for the PSW visa recently? is it true that we cannot go in person to apply for this visa and can only be done by post? I am intending to apply for this visa in the near future and a bit worried that I have post my passport away.

Many thanks

Re: ILR Long Residence - Concerned

Hello, I got ILR under the long residence rules this May 08 at Croydon PEO. Last year Oct 07 I changed my college and did not notify BIA of the change. And the old college I was in has now closed for some reason. The student visa was given for the old college and expires in Nov 2008. Please confirm...

Re: Maximum absence from the UK for 10 year residency

I've been in the UK for the previous 5 years as a university student. I will start work this year on the permit free postgrad training visa, which I believe is NOT considered a work permit. Hence, the only way I could get ILR would be to wait another 5 years to make up the 10 year residency. Howeve...

you might be eligible for ILR based on 14 years long residence rule. have a search on this forum for keywords 'long residence' and you will find plenty of details. In addition you can also find details on this using google search.

Hi, As far my understanding I think I am allowed to work full-time as soon as my final draft of my dissertation is submitted. I am allowed to do this between 2-4 months according to the homeoffice. However, what I don't understand is the following quote: "pursue a career by filling a permanent ...
