Re: Long Residence ILR advice break period

Is it possible to discuss with the Uni to get a T4 extension? Normally they do give you some extra time to at least cover your viva?

Re: appeal withdraw and ILR

viv! if they accepted application and application successful , its means they did not asked for delay evidence they processed the application with discretion. if discretion applied on that application, its not reasonable to bring on ILR application. Yes indeed. Just thought a good reason might help...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Just a little update, received BRP today. Track e-mail received 09/01/2021. Missed first delivery attempt yesterday. Apparently they do not send it through letter box anymore. However the deliverer didn't ask me to sign anything or show any ID today either. Probably they just have to make sure the m...

Re: Life in the UK Test 2021

Thanks to both of you for clarifying, we can get cracking with them now. Yes that's the mock exams I've used too. Mind they are slightly harder than the real one. That’s not a bad thing, if we can ace them then the regular test shouldn’t be too bad. How did you find the actual test, was it ok? Did ...

Received my approval earlier today. Set LR, applied 08/09/2020. Seems it is moving forward so there is hope. Many thanks to all the helpful members, and good luck everyone. Congratulations! 🎊🎉🎊 Our timelines are identical. I applied on 8th September and biometrics on 21st September in Sunderland! H...

Re: ILR- Long Residence: Application queries

If you've submitted LR September I'd say just wait. How long is your revision by the way? 3 month or 6 month? You're only eligible for a certain time window to apply DES which is I think after hand in the final revision and after the examiners' feedback/approval but before you actually get the degr...

Correct, no stamp back to 2015. 01/09 is the date when I left the UK. When I arrived in my own country it was already 02/09 with an entry stamp. So there is no argument that I can make here.
Ah, sorry to hear that. Thought there might be an argument to raise there.

Re: SET LR REFUSED WITH APPEAL RIGHTS

I'm just wondering, did it consider the time you needed to travel between the two countries? e.g. As the date raised above, is 01/09 simply the entry date of the other country that's stamped on your passport or is it the actual date you left? The UK exit doesn't stamp your passport as I recall.

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Application made 8/9. Just found available local appointments (Newcastle and Sunderland) which weren't there two hours ago. Quite a few available slots for next week. Might worth refreshing the page to check for availability.
