Can anyone let me know if HO always send BRP tracking email? I dont want to loose my BRP or should I call FedEx to enquire about my delivery?

It has been 8 weeks now that I have submitted my ILR application. It is a straight forward application with all the documents but I am yet to get my decision.

Now this is stressing me out . Is there a way to know what is happening with my application or why is it taking so much time.

I recently received UKVI Delay Notice. Is it a generic email or does that mean that my application has been picked up?

I can observe on this forum that a lot of people are using both IDV app and physical Biometrics appointment. Can someone confirm which pic UKVI is choosing for BRP? Is it the one through IDV app or the one from the physical Biometrics appointment?
