Re: UK entry date and NHS cover for non-EU parents with EUSS FP

Thanks kamoe for the very comprehensive reply! The EU sponsor is my sibling, currently pre-settled and will be settled soon. I'm on a different route though but been helping out processing our parents papers. They're both over 70 and both have life-long medical conditions so really keen to get them ...

UK entry date and NHS cover for non-EU parents with EUSS FP

Hello, Apologies in advance if my questions are already answered in previous posts. I am struggling to search for the right answers. So my non-EU parents have just filed their EUSS FP application from abroad. We're advised processing time is 15 working days so the decision might come before Christma...

Re: In country tier 2 child dependent documents query

For leave to enter, I was only asked for passport and birth certificate for my kids. For leave to remain, just the passport and the BRP. Did you apply for health care visa? It is usually quick for migrants on this route, service level at 3 weeks. My spouse is NHS sponsored and got his visa approval ...

Re: BRP Permit Number before BRP delivery

Hi all, I have received the confirmation email for an In Country Tier 2 visa application however I am still waiting on the BRP delivery. My employer is not allowing me to start my employment before the BRP delivery and is refusing to use the Home Office Employer right to work checking service. Is t...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Doing some research shows these UKVI survey’s are only sent AFTER a decision is made. @Kittycatkeeb’s experience also confirms this plus a number of more experience’s shared on the forum. There are many cases reported where UKVI has failed to push decision emails (both in ILR and BC forum) or they ...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi Guys, I am still waiting on my decision. Applied on 14th April IDV submission on 28th August. Contacted HO last week and they said I will receive an update in 10 working days. Contacted my local mp through their email today. Waiting for a response. Any suggestions or ideas to escalate further? W...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)n

Hi, I have already submitted my biometrics via IDV on 8th Sep (App date 11 Aug). However, after over 8 weeks of no response, I have finally booked an in person appointment for tomorrow(£111). I can see there are documents already uploaded on UKVCAS website. So, what all documents do I actually need...

Re: How to successfully apply for EU Settlement Scheme Family Permit for parents-in-law

Why do you want to let your permit expire in the UK, have no status, then only apply? As for any immigration application, you apply always before the end of the current status you hold. Thanks. I won’t risk expiring the current status before filing for a new one, that’s why I wanted that clarified....

Re: How to successfully apply for EU Settlement Scheme Family Permit for parents-in-law

6 months Thank you @1878. One more question please, when the close family members arrive in the UK with the EUSS Family Permit, how soon can they file for the EUSS pre-settled status? Reading some of the posts here in the forum suggest that they can as soon as they get here in the UK. I'm a bit con...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi. Has anyone got BRP approved/issued yet for those who completed the application through IDV app 1st week of September? I filed my application 14th April and managed to do the IDV app 3rd September as soon as I got the invite. I can see from this thread that a lot of approvals/issuance were are al...
