Re: From EU SS Family Permit to Pre-settled Status. HELP!

Hi all. Update, apologies, I do mean the Settlement Scheme. I have to say that there is lots of confusing information out there. However, in spite of what the online application actually states, you do not have to post the passport/verify ID. Simply do the online application (even when it says to ap...

Hello all. Hope somebody might be able to help as finding the pre-settled-status application quite confusing. My situation is that my wife is in the UK now on an EU SS Family Permit and we are just about to apply for pre-settled status. The problems are, 1. We can't use the app to verify her identit...

Re: EUSS Family Permit for my mother (non-EU) need advice

Hello. There hasn’t been communication yet but yesterday I tracked it through TLS and it showed that application was transferred to VAC (it was on “received my DMC” for ages) ,so I’m assuming that the decision has already been made though we have no idea what the outcome is and it’s just a matter o...

Re: Understanding EUSS deadline for non-EU family members

Think about it. What is April 1st + 3 months? July 1st (or, on the safe side, roughly June 30th). Re: Understanding EUSS deadline for non-EU family members

You'll need to be in the UK and have applied for pre-settled status by June 30th.

I would not like to be counting on any kind of extensions/special circumstances to deviate from this deadline, if I were you.

Re: Irish citizen moving to UK, with non-EU partner

Very odd that anyone would insinuate the Irish are looking for special favours. The Irish will follow the rules just like everyone else. Anyway, a few important points: The Family Permit is valid for 6 months from the date of issue. So, if your spouse is not planning to move until nearer May ...

Re: Irish citizen moving to UK, with non-EU partner

I'm mostly hoping to understand the December 31st deadline and what the CTA allows for in terms of my partner joining me before/after that date, though! Hello. I am in the same boat as you. As far as I can gather, you will need to establish UK residency by December 31st. However, this I believe, is...
