Re: Mysterious criminal convictions

If it is 100% true that it wasn't you, the following one if two cases would have happened,
1) You have a common name
Or 2) You are a victim of identity fraud

Like the folks said, you should reach out to the UK Metropolitan Police for a criminal background check to launch an appeal.

Re: Stamp 4 Revoke

Generally speaking, based on my unqualified opinion, you can be outside of the state for up to 90 days without any legal concerns. Anything beyond 90 days but still remaining as a tax resident (resident in the state for over 6 months in a given tax year) will trigger alarms, but they will give you a...

Re: Irish Naturalization - Should I submit my police clearances in advance?

Thanks everyone :) I've never committed a crime, but it seems like protocol after reading so many citizenship updates that for those who resided for an extended period of time in other countries in the last 9 years, police clearances from Ireland and other jurisdictions are required. And as you may ...

Irish Naturalization - Should I submit my police clearances in advance?

Hello Friends, Just wanted to quick hear your thoughts. I've been going through the immigration board, and it seems that most cases are requested police clearances from Garda and law enforcement from countries that the applicant has lived in the past. Before coming to Ireland, I lived in two countri...

Re: How long can you travel/work outside of Ireland w/o revocation of permit?

I might email INIS sometime this week to add it to their FAQs on how long employment permit holders can be absent from the state during the pandemic, as it’s important information. Why do you search for difficulties for yourself and the others in the fututre. You may be searching for problems and th...

Re: How long can you travel/work outside of Ireland w/o revocation of permit?

Thanks for your reply! The supposed nine month min. requirement to be resident in the state is a bit confusing, considering how it’s not documented anywhere. I might email INIS sometime this week to add it to their FAQs on how long employment permit holders can be absent from the state during the pa...

How long can you travel/work outside of Ireland w/o revocation of permit?

Hello Everyone, I am curious to hear your thoughts, particularly from all of y'all immigration experts. I've been reading through this forum and browsing on Google to find information on how long can an individual on a valid employment permit/employment stamp (1,2,4, etc) be outside of the state dur...

Birth Certificate Translation & Authentication for Naturalisation

Hello Everyone, Quick question here. For Irish naturalisation purposes, does your birth certificate need to be professionally translated and authenticated by certified translators and lawyers in Ireland? Or can this be completed by professional translators and lawyers in the country where the birth ...

Re: Irish Residency Calculation & 6 week absence

Thanks for the in-depth and amazing response! Much appreciated. 1. Only refugees' reckonable residence starts on the day of arrival. All other applicants' residence start on the day when you have your passport stamped with Stamp 1/3/4. 2. From the date you submit your application. So if your submit ...

Irish Residency Calculation & 6 week absence

Hello Everyone! I am planning on applying for naturalisation in the future and plan on staying in Ireland for my one year continuous residence requirement to not cause issues with the 'six week rule'. However, I do travel quite frequently and wanted to ask a few questions to all of you clever people...
