2.Reaches London in the morning around 9.40

My status is changed to the following " Processed application delivered to Blue Dart on 17 Jan 2008" hope I will get the passport with visa stamp by tomorrow..I checked around 7:15PM IST not sure when the status was changed.. Thanks for this forum..and all the best for people who are in wa...

yep!!! :? even on my application there was no post dated stamp..but I have requested in my covering letter as well as sent a mail to bhc regd the same, they have informed me that request has been attached with the application..its the job of vfs to ask the applicant abt the post dated ec and stamp ...

HI, I sent a mail 1 hr back to know the reference number and it starts with 779***... They are looking at applicants of second week of December.. :shock: Thank you for your e-mail. You may wish to note that HSMP applications received during the 2nd week of December are being assessed at the moment....

vidya 3.30 Pm is when the BHC update the status in their website every day or the chance of SMS status will change..so am waiting for it eagerly... :!: :?: to what number do you send the sms?is it 57333 ..I generally send this message "UK EXXXXXXX" the reply I get is always "ok"...

steve, if 2 Lakhs visa is true, i am not surprised abt the 5000 applications....but if they work with these numbers mainly to take decision, then i thnk we are in deep trouble..cos we can assume the chenai BHC has 30 case worker & say for HSMP there are 5 case workers....out of 5000 thnk there ...

Vidya, Quiet weird isn't it?? Ia this number for all the BHC across india, we can cofirm this if someone replies from BHC mumbai.. If above thing is correct, may be this 5000 looks reasonable...otherwise i dont see any chance that chennai BHC alone got 5000 applications between 03 dec & 28th de...

Why do you need a post dated EC? What is the timeline you need to land in UK after getting the EC. I thought you can go in as long as the EC is valid(2 yrs).
